This horde of ill-visaged ruffians is the work of many years. I've always thought that uniformity detracts from an orcish army. They're crude, they're barbarous, they're deformed, they don't stand at attention, and they don't keep their boots shiny. The better sculptors have tried to capture these elements by working irregularities into their orcish lines. But my personal solution has been to field my orcs from a variety of different sculptors, lines, and companies. They're not even painted by the same painter!
A considerable number of these figures came to me through eBay purchases, and thus I don't always have a painter's name to associate with a given unit. I am nevertheless grateful for the efforts of all who have contributed.
The two pieces of scenery shown were both purchased. The hills to the right came from a swap meet. The stone hut to the left was a fish-tank decoration stocked at PetSmart.

Yes, this paint job, and the Hobgobz preceding it, really are as scary as they look. But they came as part of a package deal on a favorably priced eBay purchase, so who's to complain ... ? |

Warfare has so much more realism with a few civilians on the table to go running and screaming away from the enemy knights ... . |
